Black bean brownies come in fudgey, moist and soooo delicious!

200 g
dry black beans (soaked overnight, cooked until soft and drained. )
1⁄2 c
unsweetened cocoa powder
4 T
coconut oil (use organic, melted)
3⁄4 c
raw honey (or use 1 cup xylitol or sweetener of choice)
2 t
1 t
vanilla extract (use real, pure vanilla extract)
eggs (pastured eggs are best)
1⁄2 c
almond flour
1⁄4 t
sea salt
1⁄4 c
water (use more or less, as needed for consistency)

Preheat oven to 350 F.  Grease a 9"x9" baking pan with coconut oil.

Blend all ingredients together until you reached the desired consistency (I like it smooth, but my husband likes it a little chunky)

Pour in prepared pan, smooth top with spatula.

Bake for 40-50 min until center is set.

Allow to cool on rack for 10-15 min or longer.

Firms up really nice in the fridge.

instead of cooking the black beans from scratch, you can use 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained
